As part of filmmaking career exploration, Zemlianova will create a film and video installation about the complexities of the science of memory and our collective memory. The pieces will examine how memories of the war inUkraine are stored and processed in the human brain, as well as how the collective memory of a community can shape the way individuals perceive and understand the past.
