The National Labor Relations Board has announced results of voting from the graduate student and postdoctoral unionization elections. In the graduate student election, 1,045 of 1,439 graduate students (approximately 73% of the number of eligible graduate students) voted, with 799 ballots cast in favor of representation. In the postdoctoral scholar election, 290 of 558 postdoctoral scholars (approximately 52% of eligible postdoctoral scholars) voted, with 240 in favor of representation. Read the Institute announcement.
