Software Engineer, Waymo LLC
Carly is a software engineer at Waymo building the world’s most trusted driver. In her role on the Planner Reasoning team, Carly leads Developer Experience for the most used constraint system. She spends part of her time as an ardent champion for code health, migrations, and cultural change. Prior to Waymo, Carly was on the API Frameworks team at Square.
Carly is the Lead Mentor for high school robotics team FRC 2500. She won the regional Volunteer Of The Year award in 2024 for her work on alumni engagement. (She’s also an alum of FRC 1700.) Since moving to Minneapolis, she enjoys whitewater kayaking, rock climbing, orienteering, fiber arts, and board games with her friends.
