Second Sunday Hike – March
Held on the second Sunday of every month, this hike explores scenic trails across the region. The March route is a 5-mile, 1,000′ elevation gain trek to Three Sisters Falls in Cleveland National Forest. The upper two falls require scrambling; boots with good traction are recommended for those continuing beyond the first waterfall.
An optional detour to Eagle Peak adds 3 miles and 800′ elevation gain. A final optional stop at Lillian Hill (1.5 miles, 250′ elevation gain) offers additional views of the San Diego River gorge and local mountains. Trails feature oak woodlands and scenic vistas.
