SK Sharma (PhD ’05) has built a dynamic career at the intersection of technology, innovation, and music. With a foundation in Chemical Physics and Biophysical Chemistry from Caltech, Dr. Sharma transitioned into finance, consulting, and entrepreneurship, where he helped guide four startups to successful acquisitions.
At Universal Music Group, he invented numerous AI-driven marketing solutions, including the patented Smart Audience platform, transforming how independent artists connect with fans. Anna Resnick (BS ’19) serves as a lecturer, career advisor, and workshop facilitator at Caltech, where she supports individuals in achieving professional and personal success. A graduate of Caltech with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Anna began her career as a software engineer, drawing on her strong technical foundation. Her transition from the technology sector to wellness was marked by earning certifications as a Strategic Intervention Life Coach and Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. Since then, she has guided countless students and clients in securing their ideal roles, navigating career changes with confidence, and negotiating salaries effectively.
