Ian Kling
Dr. Ian Andrew Kling, age 61, of Joplin, passed away on Saturday, 23 June, 2012 at his home after a lengthy illness.
Dr. Kling was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, son of the Late August John Kling and Marjory Moser Kling.
He graduated from Blair Academy in Hackettstown, New Jersey, and later attended California Technical College. He received his medical degree from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. He also had a master’s degree in hospital administration. He owned and operated Spring Rose Mental Health Clinic in Webb City, Missouri.
In addition to his parents, Dr. Kling was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Hall.
Survivors include his wife, Lenda Anderson; his children, Andrew Kling, Daniel Kling, Laura Kling, Joseph Kling all of Kirksville, Missouri, Jennifer Hall; siblings, Stefan Kling, Hackettstown, New Jersey, Karl Kling, Sarasota, Florida, Maia Kling, Richmond, Virginia, Paul Kling, Richmond, Lydia Cole of Huntsville, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
