COVID-19 Health & Safety Precautions

Alumni Weekend and Reunions 2021 is a fully vaccinated event. All participants and guests will be asked for proof of vaccination at entry. Caltech will accept proof of full vaccination of any vaccine type currently approved or authorized for emergency use by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson [J&J]/Janssen) or authorized for emergency use by WHO through the Emergency Use Listing (EUL) process. A document summarizing the status of a wide range of international vaccines can be found online on the  WHO website.

“Fully vaccinated” means it has been two weeks after an individual has received the second dose in a two-dose series, or two weeks after they have received a single-dose vaccine.

Event attendees will be subject to all local and Institute COVID protocols at the time of the event, which may include masking requirements and limited access to indoor spaces.

‍To ensure student safety, visitors are not permitted inside student residences at any time.

‍Due to ongoing health and safety concerns regarding COVID-19, this event is subject to change or cancellation at any time. If Alumni Weekend and Reunions 2021 is canceled, all registrants will be fully refunded.
